Summer on the Hilltop

2023 was a banner year for Hackley Summer Programs. Our most successful and well attended to date. We successfully navigated the Covid pandemic and were able to have a full complement of on-campus programs. 2023 also represented a high water mark for registrations, and hopefully FUN.

Plans for Summer 2024 are underway. For summer 2024 we will offer our core June on-campus programs the weeks of June 10, 17 (no programs on June 19) and 24, as well as programs throughout the summer. New course offerings for 2024 are now available for review.

Registration opens Tuesday, February 20th at 7PM.

We offer an incredible array of summer enrichment programs for students grades K-12. Whether it’s sports or visual arts, nature adventures, theater or academic challenges your children are looking for, you will find wonderful opportunities led by Hackley faculty right here on our amazing 285-acre campus in central Westchester.

Our mission: The Hackley Summer Program provides students a meaningful and fun learning environment that promotes expanding personal interests, character growth and gaining new perspectives while helping advance scholarly, social, athletic and artistic talents.

What makes Hackley Summer Programs so special?

Exceptional Instructors: Hackley programs are taught by professional educators, most of whom are Hackley teachers.

Great Courses: Hackley summer courses cover a wide range of subjects, interest areas and sports that will engage, excite and challenge young minds.

Flexibility: The Hackley Summer Program is designed to offer maximum flexibility and choice. Pick a half day for one week or take a different morning and afternoon course each week across multiple weeks. Mix and match as you like to build the perfect summer enrichment experience. There is no need to pick-up kids between the morning and afternoon sessions. They will be provided lunch and supervised recess between AM and PM sessions. Courses run all summer so you are sure to find something your kids will love. Programs are available for children in rising grades K-12.

Easy: We understand summers can be hectic so we try to make things as easy and relaxed as possible. Lunch is offered in June to all attendees, even if they attend for just half a day. We also offer Pre and Post-Care (additional cost) for busy parents who need to drop or pick-up outside of the normal program time frame.

Great Reviews: Parents and kids love Hackley Summer Programs. In recent surveys (2017, 2018 and 2019), 90% of parents were “Extremely Satisfied” with the overall experience for their children and 95% were “Extremely” or “Quite” Likely to recommend the program to others.

Campus & Location: Hackley’s 285-acre campus is ideal for summer programs involving exploration and adventure. The campus is also centrally located for easy access from all over Westchester County and the surrounding area.

FUN!: Hackley Summer Programs are fun. We make every effort to make sure kids have a very positive and enjoyable experience every second they are on campus. From ice pops at the end of each day to balloons on Fridays to fantastic students assistants who love working with kids —the environment makes for lots of happy kids.
