General MS Math Review Course

This course provides rising sixth and seventh grade students with the opportunity to improve their understanding of fractions, decimals, and percentages, as well as various other general math topics. Students will also have an opportunity to learn mathematics not frequently taught in a typical fifth or sixth grade mathematics course, potentially including but not limited to number theory, knot theory, logic, combinatorics, and fractals. This course allows students who are new to Hackley or need a refresher to become familiar with “Singapore math” strategies. It also provides an alternative to tutoring for students who need support, and offers consistent practice to students whose skills have weakened during the summer months.
