Adirondack Fishing Adventure (overnights)
Come spend 5-days fishing and camping in the Adirondack Mountains! This course is designed for intrepid fishers who enjoy exploring new waters in pursuit of big, wild fish. We'll be fishing some famed northeastern trout waters, so there will be an emphasis on fly-fishing, including a learn-to-fly-fish clinic sponsored by renowned local guide John Ruff of Ruff Waters Fly-Fishing. Of course, spin fishers are also welcome. Equipment, including rods, waders and tackle, will be provided by Ruff Waters, so no gear or experience is required. Campers will get the opportunity to fish the Ausable river, the Bouquet river, the Saranac river, and Lake Champlain. The New York State operated Ausable Point Campground will be our home base while we’re up in the mountains. Campers will be staying in tents, but the campground is equipped with showers and bathrooms. There’s also an outstanding beach front for swimming. So if you're a fisher who enjoys getting away from the crowds and adventuring in remote, wild places, this camp is for you!
