Nature Adventures with Ice Cream

Do you like being outdoors with friends? Do you like to challenge yourself to do new things? Then this is the camp for you. This is a full-day camp where every day will be something new. Daily activities are weather-dependent. Possible hikes include the Hudson Valley Highlands, Sterling State Park, Bear Mountain, and Hook Moutain.  Some days might be a ½ day morning hike, lunch at Hackley, and then a ½ day afternoon hike. Other days will be a full day away from Hackley. Most days we will sample a local ice cream shop from the area.  Possible options for the non-hiking days are a class at the Teatown and the Bronx Zoo. I know last year we did not make it to the zoo but I will get my application in early this year.  This camp will be a good mix of physical activity and fun in the outdoors. We will go to some of the camper's favorite locations as well as try some new ones.
