NYC HipHop Tour

NYC is the birthplace of Hip Hop and Hip Hop has spawned numerous influences in our present-day culture from food to fashion to entertainment to politics. But how do you know where you’re going unless you know where you’ve come from? Come join us, on the NYC Hip Hop Tour as we do a deep dive into the history of Hip Hop. The camp will visit famous and unknown sights in Manhattan - Brooklyn and the Bronx including the Apollo, and the Graffiti Wall of Fame, with the goal of exploring, learning, and appreciating more about Hip Hop and its uniqueness. We will explore all of its elements including Fashion, Breakdancing, Rap, and Graffiti. This class will certainly be an educational experience as we learn from... and learn to appreciate varying perspectives.
