Spanish 5/6 Readiness Summer Course (VIRTUAL)

Our aim is to provide our new Spanish students with instruction and tools to feel ready to enter Spanish 5 and Spanish 6 with confidence. Whether your child has no previous formal instruction or has some Spanish instruction, we believe all new students can greatly benefit from this course. The class will be conducted by one of our Spanish teachers, Emily Vidal. The closeness of the course to the beginning of the academic year is optimal for learning outcomes.

The dates are Thursday, August 1st until Wednesday, August 14th, totaling 10 hours of instruction: 2 days the 1st week, 5 days the 2nd week, and 3 days the third week. The course will be conducted on Zoom at a time to be determined based on student availability. Students are expected to do 30 minutes of independent daily work to review the concepts learned each day.  Classes will be age-appropriate, full of engaging activities and games. The cost of the course is $300.
